Eagle Video - 2005

My Life put to TV Show Themes

Over winter break in 2005 I had my Eagle Ceremony so that I could receive the Eagle Award that I had achieved almost a year earlier. My dad decided to take all the pictures of my life (and the people around me) and put them to TV show theme songs. He had picked out most of the pictures and all of the songs, and I put them all into a video. It uses all traditional crossfades between pictures and it is all pictures. Many pictures had to be adjusted for lighting, and the technical parts included lining up music and pictures and developing a credit screen that faded at the top and bottom (although that did not turn out so well when you look at the screen, it looks wonderful when projected). This project was mainly a lot of fun due to me getting to go through all of my life.

I personally made the "Gilligan's Island" part entirely by myself (selecting photos and such), and I really like that part in particular, so it is separated out below. Of course, I was Gilligan (by the way, the filename for that part is BWCAW which stands for Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness which is where all those photos were taken).
